Children's Ministry

at Seagrove

Our children's program provides opportunities for children to focus on their growing relationship with God.  Our church mission to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples trickles down into our age graded ministries. We have an avenue to reach this goal in our children's ministry by using events to draw the kids into our program, discipleship classes specifically for their ages on Wednesday Nights, and then a children's church geared towards a worship time for them on their level.  We also focus on parent discipleship and seeing families as the first line of growth for their children spiritually.

Levels of Children's Ministry

Events: Throughout the school year we offer a special Wednesday night event and an event for outreach once a month for the children to invite their friends and neighbors too.  Each event is developed to fit into the Love People part of our mission.  We see many of these events as entry points into our ministry. During the school year we provide camp, Vacation Bible School, and Day trips among other activities for the children to grow together as a group and closer to the Lord.

Wednesday Nights: We provide two different opportunities for the  children to grow and learn along their spiritual journey. We have a 4th & 5th grade class specifically set up as a small group discipleship class that we strive to help each student own their own faith.  We also offer a class for k-3rd grade that will have music training, worship, and bible study.

Sunday's: We provide children's church for the morning services, for ages K-4th grade. They are dismissed from the service to the fellowship hall where they will experience worship and activities for their age level.  At the conclusion of the main worship service you can pick your child up from the fellowship hall.  We use a video based interactive material for our children's church time.
